Aladdin Temp-Rite Introduces New Heat On Demand® "Ultra"
Meal Delivery System

Hendersonville, TN -- Aladdin Temp-Rite®, known for its innovative healthcare meal delivery systems, has developed a next-generation induction heating system that keeps food hot for up to one full hour, announced Marty Rothschild, vice president of sales and marketing. The new Heat On Demand® Ultra system keeps food hot longer, while using 70 percent less electricity than conventional base heaters.

The technology developed for Heat On Demand® Ultra is an enhancement of the Heat On Demand® heat induction system introduced by Aladdin in 1995. The energy-saving Heat On Demand® system revolutionized foodservice operations 10 years ago and now is used to deliver more than 1 million meals each day around the world.

"Heat On Demand® Ultra was developed after years of research and testing to meet the specific needs of foodservice operations with longer holding time requirements," said Rothschild. "We call Heat On Demand® Ultra the ‘ultimate time machine.’"

The new Heat On Demand® Ultra system heats an individual base in 12 seconds. Heat is directly transferred from the activator via induction into the core of the base. Each base is heated to exactly the same temperature giving you heat where you want it …when you want it. Patient meals arrive at optimum serving and taste-pleasing temperatures while the exterior of the bases remain cool-to-the-touch. This is yet another example of what the market has come to expect from Aladdin innovation and constant improvement …better by degrees.
