Hot New Idea: Aladdin’s new Heat On Demand® On Tray
Puts Heat Source in the Tray
Hendersonville, TN – Aladdin Temp-Rite®, the leader in foodservice innovation for over three decades, has engineered another game-changing breakthrough: Heat On Demand® On Tray, the first meal delivery system with an active heat source actually built into the serving tray. Using Aladdin’s proven, patented Heat On Demand® induction heat technology, Heat On Demand® On Tray not only increases hot food holding time, but eliminates the need for pellet bases, underliners, base heaters and base lifters because the heat source is in the tray. Activating the heat source within the tray for ten seconds results in one hour of holding time, keeping meals hot and HACCP-safe. This makes it an unmatched solution for a healthcare facility’s everyday meal service and also an ideal solution for room service, late trays, and other unscheduled meals.
Because the entrée plate sits directly on the serving tray – not on a pellet base – meal presentation is more appealing to patients. The look is less institutional, and closer to eating at home or in a nice restaurant. In addition, preparation and clean-up time is faster since there are fewer pieces to assemble, handle, wash, and store.
