At Aladdin Temp-Rite, we take our obligation to the Earth very seriously, working to protect the environment as we create products that deliver comfort to those in need. We prioritize sourcing our materials from local suppliers and then to suppliers located within the United States. Keeping our suppliers close helps to stimulate the economy, protect the environment, simplify processes, and increase cost savings.
We work to guard our natural resources by:
Designing systems that are energy efficient and enhance productivity.

Grinding and reusing all the extrusion and thermoforming trim scrap in our plant.
•
Selling 40,000 to 60,000 pounds of injection molding scrap to other parties for recycling annually.
Selling almost all of our scrap metal, corrugated boxes, and discarded paper to local recyclers.

Using recycled corrugated boxes and paper for packaging products when possible.
•
Reducing our waste stream year over year while growing annual production volume.
Aggressively pricing and posting obsolete or slow-moving items.

Donating unsold items to church, civic, or charity groups.
•
Reducing our electrical utility usage by 2% on a year over year basis.
Complying with governmental standards including OSHA, EPA, as well as, state and local code requirements.

Using CFC free-blowing agents for all insulated products.
•
Using ozone-friendly refrigerant for rethermalization and air curtains.
Providing products that don’t require cleaning with phosphates or destructive chemicals.

Producing polystyrene and polypropylene products that are certified to contain no hazardous materials, including Bisphenol A (BPA).

From our start as the Mantle Lamp Company to creating state-of-the-art healthcare meal delivery systems that serve critical nourishment to patients all over the world, we’ve always helped deliver comfort at Aladdin Temp-Rite. This mission has deepened throughout the years, as we’ve focused our efforts where they make the biggest difference.
