The Repeater is used in applications where there are physical obstructions such as walls and floors that suppress the signal strength of the communication between VersaHub and Sensor Transmitters. When this occurs, a Repeater can be used to extend the physical range between the PC/VersaHub and the Sensor Transmitters.

As with the VersaHub, the Repeater should be mounted as high as possible to minimize obstructions. When installing the Repeater, it should be located closer to the Sensor Transmitters and further from the VersaHub. Repeaters are omnidirectional and will go horizontally as well as vertically. It is possible for repeaters to travel through one or more floors.
